We hope you are keeping well during this difficult time for us all.
As you are aware the ‘lockdown’ continues until at least 07 May.
Full details of the Government guidelines regarding the critical actions we should be taking, can be found at https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
Please adhere fully to the advice and do not take any risks.
If any member is struggling in anyway as a result of the current situation, please let us know and we will do all we can to help.
We held our ‘virtual’ Committee meeting last night and are pleased to provide you with the following update.
· We will continue to follow both Government and RYA guidelines fully
· At the earliest opportunity we will recommence casual sailing with appropriate social distancing
· Once normal sailing can resume, we will be creating an exciting and enhanced schedule in conjunction with the current calendar. The season will also be extended into January / February 2021
· The ‘Summer camp’ will be postponed until the August Bank holiday – more details to follow
· We are looking into running some WRSC ‘on-line’ racing events for anyone who desires to be involved - more details to follow soon
· We are fortunate to have a few very local members to the club who are using their exercise routine to also check on the club house and boats – all good so far
Keep looking at our Facebook page for up to date information and useful ideas and comments.
Stay safe and we will all be hopefully back on the water soon.
The WRSC Committee.
