Welcome to West Riding Sailing Club
Formed in 1937, West Riding Sailing Club is one of the largest and oldest sailing clubs in West Yorkshire with around 150 members (plus children)
and 120 boats.

We are situated five miles South-East of Wakefield on Wintersett Reservoir with a sailing area covering approximately 100 acres. We are easy to find, being located next to the Heronry Country Park.

West Riding Sailing Club are a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) approved training provider and offer a number of courses throughout the year.
Renowned for racing
West Riding Sailing Club has been involved in racing since its inception. We have year round racing taking place on Sundays and Wednesdays in the summer.
