Bart's Bash 10th Annual Fundraiser

BART'S BASH CHARITY FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR 'TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH SAILING’ - 17 SEPTEMBER 2023

On Sunday 17 September, West Riding Sailing Club, will be joining in with Bart's Bash's GLOBAL fundraising event, for the Andrew Simpson Foundation, which connects sailing communities worldwide, bring everyone together with under one mantra: Together we can transform lives through sailing.

The event will start at 10am and will go on until 6pm. Please arrive promptly to ensure the racing runs on time.

Registration will be from 10.30 a.m. and the pre-race briefing will be at 10.45am.

There is no need for any members to sign up directly as WRSC have signed up as a club.

All participant's Bart's Bash Race results will be logged into the global Bart's Bash results system where you'll be able to see your name in lights!

Our Commodore has kindly agreed to fund some prizes too – not just for the winners!

If you have never raced before, then this is the perfect excuse to jump aboard or just come down and get involved in an exciting experience. This event is for all ages, families and skill levels.

We would like as many members as possible to take part in Bart's Bash and others to turn up to give support and cheer on participants on.

We will be lighting a BBQ early in the afternoon, and we have a gazebo to ensure we can light it regardless of weather conditions, so bring along your own BBQ food or picnic. If it does rain then we'll be taking the festivities indoors where there with plenty of entertainment for the kids. Oh! And, don't forget the club bar will be open all day, so participants and guests will be able to purchase snacks and drinks at the bar throughout the day (cash and card excepted).
